Obituary of Claudia Buta
Claudia was a caring wife, mother, sister, and friend. She left this world surrounded by her loving family on July 17, 2024 at age 50.
She was born in Curtea de Argeș, Romania, and in 2001 came to Canada with her husband Andrei and her beautiful daughter Andreea. In Canada she found joy in caring for others, discovering her true calling working as a PSW in a retirement home.
Claudia’s favourite place in the world was with her family and friends at their cottage on Eagle Lake, where they would spend most weekends in the summer. She was one of the most passionate anglers the lake had ever seen, taking her paddle boat out in the morning and coming back with fish for everyone to enjoy. At home her passion was growing orchids and hoyas, a reflection of her nurturing spirt.
She was loving and devoted, and will be dearly missed by anyone who had the pleasure of knowing her. She will be in our hearts forever.
Memorial Visitation will be held at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Sunday, July 21st, 2024 from 2 – 5pm.
