Passed away peacefully at home in Carlisle with his family. Beloved husband to Erika and father to Ruth (Stephen) Reid, Paul (Sharon) and Anne Friesen. Grandfather to Mitchell, Patrick (Sarah), Erik, Meagan, Philip and Wolfgang. Great Grandfather to Jackson.
Predeceased by his siblings Renate (Klaus) Ruhland and Udo (Hildegard) Friesen and survived by siblings Ekkehard (Inge), Peter (Ute) and Hans.
Wolfgang will be remembered for his dedication to his family, integrity and hard-working nature. He was always there to help if you needed it and was incredibly thoughtful husband, father and grandfather that loved fishing and being outdoors gardening.
Close friends are invited to visit with the family at a Celebration of Wolfgang’s life at KITCHING, STEEPE & LUDWIG FUNERAL HOME, 146 Mill St. N., Waterdown on Thursday, April 11, 2024 from 1-4 p.m. in the Family Centre.
As an expression of sympathy, donations to Cancer Assist would be appreciated by the family, in lieu of flowers.
