It is with tremendous sorrow in our hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Walter on Friday, August 23,2024.
Beloved husband of Irene for 55 years, loving father to Alexandra (John) and a very proud grandfather to Christopher and Nicholas who he loved immensely.
Walter will be profoundly missed by his sisters Zvitlana, Luda(Bob), Ann, Lily, Nellie and his brother George(Helen) as well as his nieces, nephews and his extended family.
Walter was a retired secondary school teacher. He will be affectionately remembered by all those whose lives he enriched. Walter loved to play golf. He went out of his way to bring joy to all those he encountered. His passion for life was infectious.
We thank God that He blessed us with thus remarkable man named Walter in our lives. He left us with a clear example of faith, strength and service to his Lord and fellow man.
We will miss you more than you can know.
We love you so much.
You are our rock and our heart.
Thank you to the firemen, paramedics and doctors and others for your kindness and help.
Friends may visit with the family on Friday, August 30, 2024 from 2-3:30 p.m. at KITCHING, STEEPE & LUDWIG FUNERAL HOME 146 Mill St. N., where a Funeral Service will begin at 3:30 p.m.
