Timothy Robinson Obituary
After a brief battle with ALS, Timothy John Robinson (66) was ushered into heaven on May 15, 2024, with his family lovingly by his side. He is survived by his beloved wife of 42 years, Sandy. Loving father to daughters Lindsay Robinson, Megan (Kyle) Butler, and Michelle Recine and puppy Sadie. Cherished Papa to Lily and Aria Butler.
Predeceased by his parents Ellsworth & Barbara Robinson. He will be remembered by his siblings, Shelley (Mark) Woods, Tom (Sandy) Robinson, Paul (Colleen) Robinson, sister-in-law, Lois Smith, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and Flamborough Baptist Church family.
Tim was born on June 18, 1957, an unexpected bundle of joy behind his twin brother Tom. He married his best friend and the love of his life, Sandy MacKinnon, on September 12, 1981. During the next five years, their family expanded to include daughter Lindsay and twin daughters Megan and Michelle. He was a devoted husband and father to all his girls; placing importance on his relationship with Jesus Christ, living as a man of character and endeavoring to bring a smile to those around him.
As a self-employed residential painter he worked with integrity and excellence for over 40 years. He was a frequent and loyal customer at Tim Horton’s in Waterdown as he shared his morning coffee with friends. His love for camping was evident by his many trips up north to Edgewater Beach and Red Eagle, where summers were spent with family and friends. Tim loved spending time outdoors whether it be gardening, snowmobiling or riding the ATV. He especially loved getting out on the water in his cedar strip boat or with a paddle in his hand for an early morning canoe ride.
Please join us at Flamborough Baptist Church, 41 Concession 5 East, Waterdown, on Friday, May 24, 2024. Visitation will be held at 1:00 pm followed by a funeral service at 2:00 pm. Reception to follow. Livestream will be available on the Watch Live tab at flamboroughbaptist.church.
