The Lord in his perfect timing, called to himself his child Stef on November 18, 2023. Beloved husband to Berendina “Dien” for 57 years. Loving father to Ebelien (Peter) Wattel, Gerard (Rose), Nadine (Shane) VanVeen, Hettie, and Dirk (Kristen). Opa to Aylien (Ben), Erin (Cory), Laurenne, Calvin, Marya (Caleb), Kieran, Lucas, Jordan, Zackary (Lindsey), Jenna-Dien (Sjouke), Griffin (Ember), Titus (Chelsea), Tia (Luke), Johanna, Kaitlyn, Annika, and Stephan, and Great-Opa to 9 great grandchildren. Survived by his siblings, Aly (Les) VanEgmond, Gerard (Diane) Woudenberg, and Ebelien (Art) Witten. Brother-in-law to Klaske, Jackie, George (Dieny), and Harry (Cisca) de Vries. Stef will be missed by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Friends may visit with the family on Monday, November 20, 2023 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. at KITCHING, STEEPE & LUDWIG FUNERAL HOME, 146 Mill St. N., Waterdown. The Funeral Service will take place the following day, Tuesday, November 21 at REHOBOTH CANADIAN REFORMED CHURCH, 1225 Dundas St., Burlington, at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at Burlington Memorial Gardens.
