Shirley Slagter Obituary
In God’s timing he called home his faithful child Sjouke “Shirley” Slagter on August 9, 2024 at the age of 78. Beloved wife of Joe for 50 years. Loving mother of Lisa and Vince Peterson, Ken and Lisa Slagter, Ben and Kristen Slagter, and Annette and Chris DeBoer. Cherished grandmother of 13 grandchildren and 3 great-granddaughters. Dear sister of Jack and Sandy Woudstra, Marjanne and Jeff Springstead, Bill and Marian Woudstra, and predeceased by her brother Larry Woudstra and sister Geertje Lammers.
Private Family Interment will take place at Garden Lane Cemetery. All are invited to join the family for a Memorial Service at BETHEL CHRISTIAN REFORMED CHURCH, 616 Dundas St E, Waterdown on Tuesday, August 13, 2024 at 2 p.m., with a time for visitation and reception following the Service. Livestream of the Service will be available.
If desired, donations in Shirley’s name made to Providence Christian School would be sincerely appreciated.
