Ronald William Brewer Obituary
Passed away peacefully at his home in Burlington, Ontario. Survived by his wife of 69 years, Sylvia. Loving father to Bill (Nora), Janice (Jeffrey) Sandalman, Cheryl Curmo, Tracy Brewer and Ronald Jr. (Aurelia).
Grandfather to Billy Jr., Hayley, Elizabeth, Thomas, Shannon, Brandon, and Ashton. Ron will be missed by his 6 great-grandkids. Predeceased by his parents William and Trudy and his only brother Wayne.
Ron was the MVP for the Parkdale Lions and got drafted in the first draft for the Toronto Argonauts and then went on to play football for Edmonton, Montreal and finally won the ’67 Grey Cup as a Hamilton Tiger Cat. Ron was known for his great sense of humour and was a loving father who enjoyed spending time with his family.
Friends may visit with the family on Thursday, May 16, 2024 from 1:30 – 2:30 p.m. at KITCHING, STEEPE & LUDWIG FUNERAL HOME 146 Mill St. N., Waterdown with a Funeral Service to begin at 2:30 p.m. Interment to follow at Millgrove Cemetery.
As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Cancer society would be appreciated by the family.
