Peacefully, after a long and beautiful life, Pauline Kooistra (nee Hellingwerf) went to be with her Lord on Saturday, August 3, 2024. She passed away peacefully at Parkview Meadows in Townsend with family at her side at the age of 100. Loving wife of the late Wietze (Bill) Kooistra (2015) for 67 years. Devoted mother to Andrew and Alide Kooistra, Bonnie and the late Craig (2005) Kissack, Jane and Jack Jagt, Gerty and Phil Metzlar, Rick and Lydia Kooistra, and Bill and Jane Kooistra. Cherished Beppe to 16 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren. Pauline was predeceased by 3 brothers, 1 sister, 2 brothers-in-law and 1 sister-in-law. Pauline will also be missed by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation on Wednesday, August 7, 2024 from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at BETHEL CHRISTIAN REFORMED CHURCH, 616 Dundas St. E., Waterdown (at Kerns), where the Funeral Service will take place at 11 a.m. Private family interment. Reception to follow.
