Obituary
Patricia, known to all as Pat, passed away peacefully at her home with her family by her side.
She was the much-loved wife of Charles for 63 years and the treasured mum of Susan and husband Gary, and Julie and husband Graham. Pat was a loving grandma to Zachary and his partner Jess, Ryan and his wife Emily, and Justin and his partner Kaitlin. She was eagerly awaiting her first great-grandchild, due in early 2024. Numerous nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews adored Auntie Pat.
Patricia was a devoted sister to Audrey, brother-in-law Tom, Margaret, and Veronica. She was predeceased by her parents Frank, Ruth and Agnes Jackson. Her sister Ruth and brother-in-law David, and her brother Arnold and sister-in-law Jean also predeceased her.
Patricia was born in Sunderland, England and moved with her young family to Canada in 1970. She loved to travel, returning to England many times to visit her family and friends. She also travelled to Australia and to various parts of Canada. Pat was a fabulous baker, a crossword puzzle enthusiast, and a life-long fan of Coronation Street and Neil Diamond.
Family and friends are invited to a Memorial Service for Pat on Friday, October 27, 2023 at 11 a.m. at KITCHING, STEEPE & LUDWIG FUNERAL HOME, 146 Mill St. N., Waterdown, ON with a reception to follow. For those unable to attend, the memorial service will be live streamed. Please click Watch Event below. Pat’s interment will take place at Grace Anglican Church Cemetery immediately following the reception.
