The Lord, in His perfect timing called to Himself His child Norman Henry Schuurman on February 27, 2024. Loving husband, best friend and confidant to Nellie (nee Vanderheiden) for 43 years. Beloved father to Carrie (Dan) Hartman, Candace (Jon) Jagt, James (Cori-Lynn), and Jason (Kristen). Dear papa to Asher, Owen, Nora, Clara, Macy, Max, Rhoda, Elijah, Eden, and Ivy (and baby girl Schuurman).
Born in (Hamilton) 1955 to Hank and Alida Schuurman. Dear brother to Everett (Adriana) and brother-in-law to †Len (Jane), †Louise (Eric), Jim, Theresa (Nico), Jackie (Len), and John (Amanda). Also remembered by nieces, nephews and extended family, his church family and many lifelong friends.
We thank the Lord for the incredible blessing He gave in us our husband, father and papa and we rejoice that he is now in the presence of his Lord and Saviour, free from all suffering and singing praises in eternity.

Friends may visit with the family on Friday, March 1, 2024 from 1-3 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. at VINEYARD CANADIAN REFORMED CHURCH, 4628 John St., Beamsville, where a Memorial Service will take place the following day, Saturday March 2, 2024 beginning at 11 a.m. Private Interment to precede the service.
