Nicholas William Ward Obituary
With immense sadness we announce the unexpected passing of Nicholas Ward on Sunday, June 9, 2024 at the age of 36. Loving and devoted father of his three cherished daughters Vennice, Harlynn and Nikita, who were everything to him. Dearly loved partner Brittany. Beloved son of Mary Lynn and the late Roy William Ward. Treasured best friend and brother of Ryan (Michelle) and Denny (Deanna). Uncle to Jaiden, Madison, Jaxon and Jemma.
Nick dedicated his life and love to his girls, whom he loved with all his heart. His pride in their accomplishments knew no limits. Raising his daughters with his love and partner in life, Brittany were his proudest moments. All of his girls were the loves of his life.
Nick brought joy and happiness to his family as a loving son. Both his heart and stomach were always full when he spent time with his mom. His bond with brothers was one of deep affection and mutual respect, a testament to the strength of family ties. Nothing comes between the Ward bros.
Nick had a warrior’s spirit. Courageous and tough as nails. He was a loyal friend to many, known for his kind heart, playful personality and unwavering support. Nick wore his heart on his sleeve, he would always be there for a friend in need at a moment’s notice. He was incredibly talented with an eye for detail and could build literally anything from the ground up with his own hands. He had a remarkable ability to make everyone feel valued, leaving a lasting impression on all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Even though Nick has departed from us unexpectedly, he leaves behind a legacy of love and memories that will forever be cherished. While our hearts ache with grief, we find solace in remembering the joy he brought into our lives. His warmth, smiles and laughter will be remembered forever.
Friends and relatives are invited to a visitation on Wednesday, June 19, 2024 from 5-8 p.m. at KITCHING, STEEPE & LUDWIG FUNERAL HOME, 146 Mill St. N., Waterdown.
If desired, donations made to Canadian Mental Health Association in memory of Nick would be appreciated by the family.
