Murray Charles Whibley Obituary
Passed away unexpectedly at home on May 28, 2024 in his 84th year. Beloved husband of the late Sally (2018) for 57 years. Loving father of Chris, Mike (the late Kim), and Tim (Brenda). Proud grandfather and great-grandfather. Survived by siblings Patricia, Jim, Rose and Donna.
Murray’s first love was golf, starting as a caddie at Mississauga, and later as a pro at Kincardine. He got his first hole-in-one at age 11. Murray and Sally married and started a family, and Murray began his career with the Ministry of Transportation, spending over 30 years working there, retiring in 1993.
Visitation on Wednesday, June 5, 2024 from 7-9 p.m. and Thursday, June 6, 2024 from 10-11 a.m. at KITCHING, STEEPE & LUDWIG FUNERAL HOME, 146 Mill St. N., Waterdown, where the Funeral Prayers will be held on Thursday, June 6, 2024 at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at Milton Evergreen Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations to a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
