Kenneth Mansfield Bush Obituary
Kenneth Bush passed away peacefully on June 7, 2024, at The Cook Family Residence, in Waterloo, Ontario, with family at his bedside. He was 87 years old. The family grieves his loss but is deeply grateful for all the years of laughter and love.
Kenneth was predeceased by his parents, John, Winifred (née Stead), and Hazel (née Peters). He is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Margaret (née Anderson); his beloved sons Allan (Ana) and Peter (Shannon); and his cherished grandchildren, Craig, Ricky (Kate and Baby Carter) and Melina (Patrick and Baby Laya). Kenneth is also survived by his dear brother, John (Sherry). He will be sadly missed by all of his extended family of nephews, cousins, niece, and the large group of friends he made over the years with his incredible smile.
Community service was especially important to Kenneth. He was actively involved with many organizations and devoted many years to local politics, serving as an Alderman for the village of Waterdown and Councillor for Ward 1 in the Town of Flamborough. Kenneth was a dedicated member of the Halton Conservation Authority for 8 years, always advocating for environmental protection and conservation in the region. He devoted many hours to the community as President and member of the Waterdown District Lion Club, a member of Waterdown Legion Br #551, and will be remembered for coaching several minor league baseball teams.
Kenneth worked for over 28 years with Westinghouse in Hamilton and continued his career in lighting sales with GTE Sylvania, Crouse-Hinds, Wharton Sales, and as an independent business operator.

Donations can be made to the Salvation Army and Hospice Waterloo Region.
As per Kenneth’s wishes, cremation has taken place, and a private family burial service will be arranged.
A Celebration of Life has been arranged for friends in the Kitchener area to visit with the family at PARK PLACE APARTMENT BUILDINGS: CELEBRATION ROOM, 75 York St., Kitchener, Ontario at the Corner of Mt. Hope and York St, Rear Entrance, on Friday, July 12, from 10 a.m.- 1 p.m.
A Celebration of Life has been arranged in Waterdown at KITCHING, STEEPE & LUDWIG FUNERAL HOME 146 Mill St. N., Waterdown on Friday, July 12, 2024, from 5 p.m.-8 pm.
