Peacefully in his sleep on Jan. 28, 2024 at Joseph Brant Hospital, Burlington, at the age of 96. Reunited in Heaven with his wife Beverley and son John Jr. John leaves behind his daughters Beverley Footman (Roger) and Kimberley Wright (Jamie Ryan), his granddaughters Courtney Wright and Leeanne Buonassissi (Alex), great-grandson Oakland and his beloved dog Meesha.
Visitation at KITCHING, STEEPE & LUDWIG FUNERAL HOME, 146 Mill St. N., Waterdown on Friday, Feb. 2, 2024 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at ST. THOMAS THE APOSTLE CATHOLIC CHURCH, 715 Centre Road, Waterdown on Saturday, Feb. 3, 2024 at 11 a.m. Reception to follow. Interment in the Spring at Boston Mills Cemetery, Caledon.
