James “Tac” Dorwin Watson
Unexpectedly and with sadness we announce the passing of James Dorwin Watson at Joseph Brant Hospital on Sunday, January 28, 2024 at the age of 79 years. Beloved husband to Mickey Dent and pre-deceased by his beloved wife Barbara (2009). Loving father to Kim (Bill) and David (Gina). Proud grandfather to Jaymee (Josh) and Billy (Anna); great-grandfather to Mason and Nio. Dear brother to Wayne (predeceased) and Jane Carter. James will be remembered by his other relatives and many, many friends.
James was a lifelong resident of Mt. Nemo. He worked his career in trucking with many years at Nelson Aggregates. Also coached in the Lowville Softball League for many years.
Friends may visit with the family at KITCHING, STEEPE & LUDWIG FUNERAL HOME, 146 Mill St. N., Waterdown on Saturday, February 3, 2024 from 9:30 until the start of a Memorial Service at 11 a.m. Reception will follow at the Royal Canadian Legion, Waterdown Branch #551. Cremation has taken place.
The family would like to extend their sincere appreciation to the staff of Joseph Brant Hospital, 4 North for their care of James. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy. Please sign the Tribute Wall.
