Jack Walker Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Jack Walker in his 87th year at home on Friday June 28, 2024 surrounded by his family and loved ones. Devoted husband to Lynne of 66 years and proud father of Susan and her husband Lenny.
Jack was a classic car enthusiast and fulfilled his lifelong dream of obtaining his pilots licence and flying his own plane. After working 30 years at Stelco, Jack retired and built and operated Midtown Carwash in Waterdown until 2017. He was then able to enjoy spending his winters in Maple Leaf Golf and Country Club in Florida playing shuffleboard and bocce and building new friendships that he greatly cherished. Jack was known for his wry sense of humour and sarcastic wit. His stories and antics would fill the room with laughter. He will be greatly remembered and missed by his lifelong friends with which he shared many light-hearted pranks.
To honour his wishes, cremation has taken place.
