DENEKAMP, Harmina (nee Barelds)
At the age of 97 years, Harmina passed away peacefully in her sleep at Mt. Nemo Christian Nursing Home on Saturday, August 10, 2024 and woke up in heaven with her beloved Saviour. Beloved wife of the late Sipke for 62 years. Loving mother of Thea (Mark) Saul, Jannie (Leo) Westra, Harrina (Len) Vanderlingen, and Herman Denekamp. Much loved Grandma to 12 grandchildren and their spouses: Lis Ann, David (Michelle), Amanda (Tim), Rebecca, Michael (Erin), Kevin (Andrea), Cheryl (Scott), Andrea (Neil), Colin (Tara), Nathan and Jordan. Proud Oma to 20 grandchildren: Nicholas, Jaxon, Abigayle, Joshua, Benjamin, Julia, Jordan, Django, Jayden, Sophia, Kaley, Cole, Noah, Tyler, Emmet, Garret, Michaela, Ainsley, Brooke and Henry. Delighted to have met her first great-great grandchild Atlas. Predeceased by her grandson Christopher (2005).
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 14, 2024 from 9:30 – 10:30 a.m. at KITCHING, STEEPE & LUDWIG FUNERAL HOME, 146 Mill St. N., Waterdown, where the Funeral Service will take place at 10:30 a.m. Interment to follow at Greenwood Cemetery.
