David (Kryn) Koning Obituary
After a long struggle, the Lord peacefully called to his eternal home, his beloved child, Dave Koning, in his 89th year, surrounded by his family. Dave is survived by his wife Ann (Branderhorst), whom he was a loving and devoted husband to for over 65 years. Dad was also a loving father and grandpa to John, Don & Linda, Rob & Nancy, Jeff & Lorie, Steve & Sara, 17 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.
Predeceased by his brothers, Jake Koning and Martin Koning and many in-laws. Survived by his brother, Dick (Sandra) Koning, sister-in-law, Ally Koning, and in-laws, Dorothy DeVries, Lourens Kodde, Peta Branderhorst. Lovingly remembered by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held at MOUNT HOPE COMMUNITY CHRISTIAN REFORMED CHURCH, 3076 Homestead Dr., Mount Hope on Thursday, August 1st from 6 – 8 p.m.
Internment will precede the funeral service on Friday morning at Mount Hamilton Cemetery on Rymal Road. If you would like to join the procession for the internment, please meet with the family by 9:15 a.m. at the Mount Hope CRC. The Funeral Service will begin at 11:00 a.m. at Mount Hope Community CRC followed by a time of lunch and fellowship. The Service will be livestreamed for those unable to attend in person.
