Arthur “Art” & Marjorie “Marj” Hutchinson Obituary
It is with deep sorrow we announce the tragic and sudden passing of Arthur James Frederick Hutchinson and his beloved wife Marjorie Hazel Hutchinson (nee Frost) on March 22, 2024. Loving parents of Matthew, Joanne (Craig) Cumming and Sandra (David) Hodds. Truly proud grandparents of Jaret, Taylor, Mikaela and Richelle. Art is survived by his siblings Stella, Bill, Chuck, Donny, Carol and Della; and was predeceased by Edith. Marg is survived by her twin brother Harold “Bud” and Leland; and was predeceased by Joan and Leslie. They will be remembered with love by many other relatives, friends and neighbours.
Art will be fondly remembered for his beautiful gardens, woodworking, and his love for tending and taking care of the farm and his family.
Marj will be remembered for her quiet but constant love and support, her delicious treats tailored specifically for those she loved, and for always knowing and being there when you needed her.
The family takes comfort in knowing they were together till the end; but that the world will never be the same.
In lieu of flowers, we ask you to hug your loved ones a little tighter and take the time for a chat.
Cremation has taken place. All services will be held at KITCHING, STEEPE & LUDWIG FUNERAL HOME, at 146 Mill St. N., Waterdown. Visitation will be held on Monday, April 1, 2024 from 5-8 p.m. followed by a memorial service on Tuesday, April 2, 2024 starting at 11 a.m. with a reception after. Private interment occurring at Strabane Cemetery at a later date.
