Arend Pieter Kersten Obituary
With his room in the Mansion ready and waiting, Arend crossed the Jordan on August 17, 2024 at the age of 77. Left to mourn his passing is Dianne (Brouwer), his beloved and devoted wife of over 56 years. He was so very very proud of his three favourite daughters and their husbands: Shelley and Cal Bosveldof Brantford, Lori-Anne and Scott Hill of Milton and Tricia and Harmen DeVries of Flamborough. Arend was predeceased by infant son Richard Glen (1967). Beloved Opa to Chris and Taylor, Mike and Taylor, Katie and Jordan, Lindsay, Emily, Megan and Noah, Diana, Bryn, Dirk and Tessa. He was so blessed by his GREAT grandchildren: Noa, Riley, Willem and Parker.
Visitation will take place on Wednesday, August 21, 2024 from 3-5 p.m. and 6-8 p.m., at KITCHING, STEEPE & LUDWIG FUNERAL HOME, 146 Mill St.N., Waterdown. The Funeral will be held beginning at 11 a.m. on Thursday, August 22, 2024 at CALVIN CHRISTIAN REFORMED CHURCH, 420 Highway 5 W., Flamborough (5 km west of Clappison Corners).
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Why Not City Missions in Brantford would be appreciated.
