Marilyn Margaret Anne Callingham (Evans), a resident of Chatham, passed away February 6, 2024 in her 88th year after a brief battle with cancer.
Marilyn was born in Brantford and was the daughter of the late Nathaniel and Florence (Brooks) Evans.
Beloved wife of the late Peter Callingham.
Dear mother of Scott Kelly of Beaumont, Alberta and predeceased by her daughter Susan Kelly.
Stepmother of Laura Callingham.
Beloved grandmother of Sydney Jones of Mississauga.
Marilyn was a long-time retired CIBC employee who loved to read, complete the NY Times crossword in full, and make yummy jams for her friends and colleagues.
Special thanks to the wonderful crew at Chatham Kent Hospice who made such a difference in her last days.
The late Marilyn Callingham rested at Eric F. Nicholls Funeral Home Ltd. 639 Elgin St., Wallaceburg.
Following her wishes, there will be no funeral or visitation. She will be cremated and returned to Brantford and interred with her parents.
