With the heaviest of hearts, we announce that our Wife, Mother and Grandmother Marie Mai ‘Mary’ Irwin passed away suddenly on Tuesday, November 14, 2023 at the age of 66. Mary will be forever cherished by her husband David and her children Matt (Jennie), Chris (Alexis) and D.J. (Jessica). Honourary Mother of Jennie Druer, Michelle (Don) Price, Tina (Lincoln) Johnson, Richard (Marie-Josee) Theriault, and the late Jessica Lagacé. Devoted Nana of Michel, Reese, Zander, Peyton, Lily, Autumn, Eliza, Julia, Connor, Patrick, Sellyna, and Mavrik. Mary is the daughter of the late Claude and Elizabeth Lagacé and a dear sister of Clifford, Patrick, Linda, Guy, Dave, Armond, Morris and the late Clarence, Jeannine, Alain and Diane. She will be fondly remembered by her many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Family and Friends are invited for visitation at the Haycock-Cavanagh Funeral Home, 409 Nelson Street in Wallaceburg (519-627-3231), on Wednesday, November 22, 2023 from 5-8pm. All are invited to her graveside burial on Thursday, November 23, 2023 at 11am at the Dresden Cemetery. If you wish to make a donation in Mary’s memory, please consider the Ronald McDonald House.
