With heavy hearts we announce that Barbara Jean Ward went peacefully to be with the Lord on Tuesday, November 19, 2024 at the age of 74. Barbara is the beloved wife of Daniel Ward and she will always be remembered and loved by her children Allan Mader (Nikki Martin), Nichola ‘Nicole’ Woods, Matthew Ward and Vanessa Coffel (Neil). Cherished Grandmother of Taylor Mader, Hunter Mader, Seth Martin, Cody Woods, Franki Woods, Tyler Ward, Clayton Coffel, Sadie Coffel and great granddaughter Alexis Woods. Barb was the oldest daughter of the late Ken and Mary Larabee and will be missed by her sisters Christine Down, Arlene Larabee, Marilyn Arnold, Pauline McNaughton and Louise Strong as well as her many beloved nieces and nephews. Her family would like to sincerely thank all the doctors and nurses at CKHA – Sydenham Campus for all the care and compassion given to Barbara. Family and Friends are invited for visitation at the Haycock-Cavanagh Funeral Home, 409 Nelson Street in Wallaceburg (519-627-3231), on Sunday, November 24, 2024 from 2-4 and 6-8pm. In honour of her Faith and as a long-time member of Faith Baptist Church (218 Nelson Street), her funeral service will be held at the church at 11am on Monday, November 25, 2024 followed by burial at Riverview Cemetery.
