It is with deep sadness that we share the sudden passing of Paul Joseph Kuntz of Mildmay at the South Bruce Grey Health Centre, Walkerton, on Thursday, December 28, 2023, at the age of 71.
Beloved brother of Leonard Kuntz of Mildmay. Paul will be missed by his sisters-in-laws Betty Ann Kuntz of Hanover, Shirley Steffler of Toronto, and many nieces and nephews.
Paul spent many years employed at Canada Packers in Walkerton, and Abate Rabbit Packers in Arthur, where he retired. He was well known to be extremely shy and laid back but to those that knew him well, that could quickly change while watching a Toronto Maple Leaf game, during an enthusiastic family card game, or just enjoying some social time at the day away program, which he loved.
He enjoyed watching sports and cooking shows, going fishing, and was an avid animal lover but above all else he loved spending quality time with his family, usually playing cards and spoiling his great nieces and nephews any chance he could get. He had a quick wit about him and enjoyed sharing funny family stories with the younger generations. Paul will forever be remembered for his thoughtful and kind nature and will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him.
Predeceased by his parents Joseph and Martina (nee Kreitz) and brothers Lorne Steffler, Ray Kuntz, and sister Mary (Ivan) Archambault.
