Marlene DeCarrion (nee Waechter) passed away on Saturday, June 22, 2024, at Brucelea Haven, Walkerton, in her 82nd year. Beloved mother of Remy (Amanda) of Smiths Falls and Mirella (Jeff) Walbourne of Fergus, and grandma of Tyreese, Seth, Axton, Brody. She will be missed by her siblings Bruce (Barb) Waechter of Southampton, Ray (Anita) Waechter, Dave (Darlene) Waechter, Dianne (Bob) Waram, and Ken (Marg) Waechter, all of Walkerton, her many nieces and nephews, and her dear friend Paul Knight of Guelph.
Predeceased by her son Pedro, brother Doug Waechter, and her parents Harry and Norma Waechter.
Friends and relatives are invited for visitation from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 25, 2024, at Cameron’s in Walkerton. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 26, 2024, at Sacred Heart Church, Walkerton. Fr. Leszek Szczygiel officiating. Reception at Sacred Heart Church to follow.
Interment in Calvary Cemetery, Walkerton.
