Frederick “Fred” Henry Gortson
On Tuesday, February 13th, 2024, Fred passed peacefully at home with his wife by his side. Beloved husband of Patricia for 43 years. Loving father of Amanda (Darrell) Lumsden, Robyn Casement and Matthew Gortson. Caring grandfather of Liam, Connor, Aiden, Mackenzie, Isabella and Freddy. He is survived by his siblings Liz (Alf) Koop, Bob (Betty) Gortson, Kathy McKinnon, Jon (Jennie) Gortson, Margie (Jared) Vaillancourt and brother in law Peter Wall. Predeceased by his parents Ernest and Catherine Gortson, brothers David and Ernie, sisters Linda and Mary, brother in law Jeff McKinnon. Fred will be fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews and friends.
Friends and family are invited to Tallman Funeral Homes 3277 King St., Vineland, Ontario, Saturday, February 17th at 10am for visitation. Service will be held at 11am in chapel followed by refreshments in the Fireside Room directly after.
In keeping with his wishes, cremation will take place with arrangements entrusted to Tallman Funeral Homes.
