Obituary of Elfrida Isaak
Elfrida Isaak passed away peacefully on Dec. 20, 2023, surrounded by her family. She is survived by her beloved husband of 63 years, John, and her four children, Peter (Nelli), Liz (Alvin), Helen (Ted) and Linda. She always delighted in seeing her 7 grandchildren – Jacklyne (Mike), Curtis (Tara), Jacqueline (Brad), Janell (James), Jessica (Brandon), Graham and Lucas (Natalie) and her 4 great grandchildren – Sophia, Ethan, Jack and Madilynn. She will also be missed by her brother, Theodore and his wife Rita, her sister-in-law, Tina and many nieces, nephews and friends.
Elfrida loved to be busy and will be remembered for her enjoyment of gardening, swimming, reading, knitting, playing games and walking outdoors. Her favourite moments were spent up north at their cottage or with family and friends around a full table.
Visitors will be received on Wednesday, Dec. 27 from 6-8pm at Scott St. M.B Church (339 Scott St., St. Catharines). A funeral service will also be held at the church on Dec. 28 at 10:30am. Interment and lunch to follow.
We would like to thank the compassionate staff at Greater Niagara General Hospital for assisting the family in Elfrida’s last moments.
Memorial donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
