It is with great love and sadness that we announce the passing of Vic on Monday, October 14, 2024 at the age of 82. Loving husband to Linda (neé Woodman) for over 47 years, cherished father of Corry (Mike May), and Sheri Cachia, devoted Grandpa to Anthony, Austin Cachia and Shawn May (predeceased) and Papa to Aubrey Cachia. Vic is predeceased by his parents Christopher and Grace (neé Darling) Cachia, and 16 brothers/sisters. He will be dearly missed by his extended family and friends. Vic was a dedicated employee of the City of Toronto in the filtration department for 50 years, a passionate sportsman and coach to many.
Visitation will be held at SMITH’S FUNERAL HOME, 485 Brant Street, (one block north of City Hall), BURLINGTON (905-632-3333), on Sunday, October 27, 2024 from 3-6 p.m. If desired, memorial contributions to Diabetes Canada would be sincerely appreciated by the family. www.smithsfh.com
