La famille Ducharme a le regret de vous annoncer son décès à Sturgeon Falls, le lundi 19 août 2024 à l’âge de 84 ans.
Fils de feu Maurice Ducharme et de feu Yvonne (née Lapensée). Époux bien-aimé de 60 ans de Rollande (née Sarazin). Père de Paul, Sylvie (Daniel) et Diane (Dave). Son souvenir restera gravé dans la mémoire de ses petits-enfants Mélissa et Valérie, plusieurs nièces et neveux ainsi que la famille Sarazin. Frère de Laurette Leriche (feu Hugh). Prédécédé par ses frères Albert et Joseph et ses sœurs Jeanne, Alice, Anna, Rita, Claire, Florence, Berthe, Marie-Ange, Simone et Suzanne.
André avait de l’amour inconditionnel pour sa famille. Un homme de tous métiers, fasciné par la machinerie lourde, il était souriant, joyeux et accueillant. Il jouissait des discussions “philosophiques” sur la politique, les sciences et la religion. Passionné du plein air et de la nature, André aimait faire la pêche, la chasse, le jardinage et surtout le camping au Grassy. Les rencontres de famille et d’amis faisaient partie intégrale de sa vie.
La messe funéraire sera célébrée à l’église St-Jean Baptiste, Verner, le mercredi 28 août 2024 à 13 h. Les arrangements funéraires sont confiés au Salon Funéraire Théoret Bourgeois, Sturgeon Falls. Que vos témoignages de condoléances se traduisent en dons à la Fondation de l’Hôpital Général de Nipissing Ouest (Hummingbird Hospice Colibri).

The Ducharme family regrets to announce his passing in Sturgeon Falls on Monday, August 19, 2024, at the age of 84. Son of the late Maurice Ducharme and the late Yvonne (née Lapensée). Beloved husband of 60 years of Rollande (née Sarazin). Father of Paul, Sylvie (Daniel) and Diane (Dave). Lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Mélissa and Valérie, many nieces and nephews and the Sarazin family. Brother of Laurette Leriche (late Hugh). Predeceased by his brothers Albert and Joseph and his sisters Jeanne, Alice, Anna, Rita, Claire, Florence, Berthe, Marie-Ange, Simone and Suzanne.
André had unconditional love for his family. A man of all trades, fascinated by heavy machinery, he was quick with a smile, cheerful and welcoming. He enjoyed “philosophical” discussions about politics, science and religion. Being an enthusiast of the outdoors and nature, André enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening and, above all, camping at Grassy Lake. Getting together with family and friends was a vital part of his life.
The funeral mass will be celebrated at St-Jean Baptiste Church, Verner, on Wednesday, August 28, 2024, at 1 pm. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Théoret Bourgeois Funeral Home, Sturgeon Falls. Donations in his memory can be made to the West Nipissing General Hospital Foundation (Hummingbird Hospice Colibri).
