It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Catherine Ferrari on July 14, 2024. Cathy was an extraordinary person – a loving mother and wife, a dedicated lawyer, proud Spartan, and always full of energy and love. She was the rock of our family. Cathy loved music and brought joy and harmony into our lives. As a wonderful mediator, negotiator, and problem solver, she was a sharp litigator who spent countless hours resolving complex matters with grace and skill. Cathy had a special touch for going above and beyond to help others. She was intelligent, strong-minded, kind, patient, loving, strong-willed, and an involved member of her community.
She will be forever missed by her loving amorcito, Armando; her cherished children, Laura and Gabriella; her devoted parents, Erminia and Italo; her dear sister, Cristina, and her husband, Daniel, and their sons, Marco and Giancarlo; her beloved brother, Roberto, and his wife, Mary, and their son, Dante; sus estimados suegros, Jorge y Patty; su querido cuñado, Mauricio; Bonita; as well as her relatives and many friends.
Visitations will take place at the Vescio Funeral Home Woodbridge Chapel (8101 Weston Rd., Vaughan) on Tuesday, July 16, 2024, from 6-9 p.m., and on Wednesday, July 17, 2024, from 2-4 p.m. and 6-9 p.m.
The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, July 18, 2024, at 9:30 a.m. at St. Margaret Mary Roman Catholic Church (8500 Islington Ave., Vaughan). Following the service, Catherine will be cremated in accordance with her wishes.
