On her own terms Ursula passed away on Tuesday, November 14, 2023 at the age of 92. Predeceased by husbands Arnold Lange (1987) and Heino Benker (2010). Predeceased by parents Dietrich (1939) and Helene (1986) Pilster. She was the middle child of 7 children. Ursula came to Canada in 1954 with her first son Arnie to meet up with her husband Arnold. Survived by sons Arnie (Margite), Eric (Mary), Robert and daughter Ruth. Survived by grandchildren Austin, Karsten, Melanie, Erica, Melissa, Veronica, Julie and Samantha; and great-grandchildren Daryn, Mia, Lucy, Emily, Addison and Remi. She was very active at church and the East Plains United Church quilting club.
Visitation at SMITH’S FUNERAL HOME, 485 Brant Street, (one block north of City Hall), BURLINGTON (905-632-3333), on Friday, November 17, 2023 from 12 p.m., where the Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel at 1:00 p.m. Burial at Woodland Cemetery. If desired, memorial contributions to East Plains United Church or the Red Cross would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
