Colden, Douglas – It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Douglas Colden on Sunday, December 3rd, 2023, in his 72nd year. Son of Walter Colden and Peggy Colden. Survived by loving wife Kathryn Callaghan.
Loving brother to Barb Davidson (Clare, pre-deceased).
He will be deeply missed by children Jamie Colden, Ashley Colden (Chris), and Aaron Colden.
Grandfather to Logan LaRose-Myers.
Arrangements entrusted to RUSHNELL FUNERAL HOMES – TWEED, (137 Colborne St. 613-478-3535).
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 9th from 12 pm – 2 pm. Funeral Service will be held in the chapel Saturday, December 9th, 2023 at 2 pm. Interment at Victoria Cemetery. Rev. Janice Chrysler officiating.
Reception to follow at Rushnell Funeral Home – Tweed.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society and to Veterans Affairs would be greatly appreciated by the family.
