LASHER, Lorna Ruth
After a courageous battle with Ovarian Cancer, we are saddened to announce the passing of Lorna Ruth Lasher, on Sunday April 28th, 2024. Cherished daughter of Lorne Rorabeck and Helen Foster. Lorna, in her 85th year, of Trenton, Ontario. Beloved wife of 46 years to Gordon Loxley. Mother of six to Sandra (Terry Baumhour) and Marlene Thompson (Norman Adshead). Predeceased by Sharon (Gary Parks), Don Lasher, Stephen Lasher and Rick Lasher. Loved by her step children Terry Loxley, Gord Loxley (Peter), Sylvia Loxley Ward (Carl) and Penny Loxley McKay. She leaves behind siblings; Linda Galvin, Teina Hill and Dave (Brenda Rorabeck).
Lorna, a long time Mead Johnsons employee, will be greatly missed by numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren and friends.
Arrangements entrusted to RUSHNELL FUNERAL HOMES – BELLEVILLE, (80 Highland Ave .613-968-5588). Funeral Service will be held in the chapel on Wednesday May 8th, 2024 at 10:00 am. A reception is to be held immediately following. An interment will be held at Whites Cemetery at 12:30pm (Trenton).
