Surrounded by family and love, Hilbrand Tenwolde entered the presence of his Lord and Saviour, on April 25th, in his 87 year at Hospice Quinte.. Beloved husband of Willy Tenwolde (nee Struyk) of Trenton. Dear father of Marilyn (Tom) Baker, Dianne (Jim) Sutherland, Roy (Diane) Tenwolde and Judy (Al) McCaughen. Much loved grandfather to Michael (Kim) Baker, Jess (Nicole) Baker, Hannah (David) Mills, Abigail (Michael) Sutherland, Josh (Hannah) Sutherland, Kaleb McCaughen, Noah (Aly) McCaughen, Jeremy McCaughen and Rebecca (Chris) Reid. Adored great grandfather to Alexa, Mikayla, Beau, Theo, Rihana, Vincent, Layla, Hailey and Haiden. Predeceased by all his siblings. Cherished in law to Riet VanVark, John (Andrea) Struyk, Netty Prins, Art (Debbie) Struyk, Julia (Ben) Kamink and Ann VanArragon. Silly uncle to too many nieces and nephews to count. The family will receive friends at the Ebenezer Christian Reformed Church, 18 Fourth Ave., Trenton on Monday, April 29, 2024 from 1-2 pm with funeral service to follow at 2 pm. Interment to follow at Carrying Place Cemetery Annex. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Quinte Region Christian Schools (cheques or etransfer payments@qrcs.ca) or the Hospice Quinte would be appreciated by the family.
