Millar, Helen (nee Davidson)…Passed away peacefully at Crown Ridge Nursing Home, Trenton on Monday July 15th, 2024 at the age of 95. Beloved wife of the late Walter Millar (formerly of Carrying Place and life long residents of Prince Edward County). Loving mother of Roy (Nancy), Glenn (Lynn) and Chris (Helen). Proud grandmother to Shannon, Corrado “Charles” and Carmella “Cammy” and great grandmother to Corrado, Kiana, Katie, Brodie and Natalia. Helen is survived by her step brother Lorne Bumstead (Charlene) and predeceased by her parents Lance & Edith Davidson, her sister Eileen Warnke (Don) and her brother Charles Davidson. Helen loved spending time with her family and friends. She was a member of the Canadian Kennel Club and enjoyed taking her dogs to various shows. Helen owned a kennel and raised Labrador Retrievers for many years at her home in Carrying Place, Ontario. The family wish to extend a warm thank you to the staff at Crown Ridge Nursing Home for the warm and loving care that Helen received.
The family will receive friends at WEAVER – East, 29 Bay St., Trenton on Monday July 22nd, 2024 from 12:30 to 1:30 pm, followed by a funeral service at 1:30 pm. Interment Carrying Place Cemetery Annex. After the burial the family will host a reception at the funeral home.
