DeMille, Douglas “Doug”….passed away peacefully at Belleville General Hospital on Sunday December 22nd, 2024 in his 67th year. Loving husband of the late Donna Jean DeMille nee Pretty. Proud father of Michael DeMille (Rebecca “Becks” Turner) and Melanie DeMille (Brandon Matchett). Devoted grandpa to Josephine and Adelaide DeMille. Doug is survived by his siblings: Donald DeMille (Brenda) and Maida Bellamy and is predeceased by Gloria Jordison (Ken), Jim DeMille and Patricia Fleming (Larry). He loved being an uncle so his presence will be missed by his many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at Weaver Family Funeral Home – East, 29 Bay Street, Trenton on Friday, December 27, 2024 from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Funeral service will be held at Wooler United Church, 2798 County Road #40, Wooler on Saturday, December 28, 2024 at 1:00 pm. Spring interment will take place at Mount Zion Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Arthritis Society or the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
