McMaster, Anne – It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Anne at Applefest Lodge on Sunday, May 12th, 2024, in her 95th year. Loving daughter of the late Ameling and Anna Meijer. Beloved wife of the late Ross McMaster. Cherished mother to the late Sydney Van Vaals (Sandra), Harry Van Vaals (Barbara), Jeannie Button, and Kevin Van Vaals. Devoted grandmother to Ryan Klassen, the late Candis Klassen, Brittany Van Vaals, Daniel Button (Sarah), Jenni de Werk (Marco), Michael Van Vaals (Sara), Haylea Van Vaals, and Sara Van Vaals, and proud great-grandmother to many. Predeceased by her sister Harmina VanderWeide (late Rin). The family will receive friends at the RUSHNELL FUNERAL HOME, 60 Division Street, Trenton (613-392-2111) on Thursday, May 16th, 2024 from 5-8 p.m. A Celebration of Anne’s life will be held at Wooler United Church on Friday, May 17th, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. with visitation one hour prior to the service from 10-11 a.m. Inurnment to follow at McPhail’s Cemetery.
