Ula, Ulita, Ula La La was so very loved by everyone who knew her and saw her light. She was our amazing, talented, shining, brave and bold and sweet and nerdy girl. She was such an artistic talent, and she was funny enough to be on a stage. Ula cared so much about other people and loved life beyond words. Ula Marguerite Podesta Chalmers is our star and we love her so, so much. We miss her more than words can say. She is forever in our hearts. We love you Ula.
There will be a celebration of Ula’s life at the Algonquin Island Association (AIA) on Sunday, December 17th starting at 3 pm til evening.
To get there you need to take the 230 ferry to Ward’s Island (15 min) and then walk to the AIA (10 min).
