December 21, 1941 – December 4, 2023
Peacefully, on Monday, December 4, 2023. Beloved husband of Maxine Elman for over fifty- eight years. Loving father and father-in-law of Greg and Kristin, Kevin and Nina. Cherished grandpa of Lauren, Jessica, Dylan, Brierly, and Sophie; Ryan, Noah, and Olivia. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Joan and Arnold Zidulka, and the late Richard Sanders; and brother- in-law of Harvey and Margo Elman. Son of the late Morty and the late Gwen Sanders. Stephen will be sorely missed by his nieces, nephews, family, many friends, and all those whose lives he touched. The family would like to thank the wonderful staff of 7 North at Maimonides Geriatric Centre for their exceptional care and compassion. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Thursday, December 7 at 12:00 p.m. Burial at the Beit Abraham Congregation Section, Kehal Israel Cemetery, D.D.O. Shiva at 5885 Marc Chagall Ave. (reception room), C.S.L.
