It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Stephen Geoffrey Hooton, 71, of Scarborough, Ontario, on November 15, 2024, at Scarborough General Hospital.
Stephen was born on April 11, 1953, to Doris and Geoffrey Hooton in Birmingham, England. In 1981, he moved to Canada, where he built a life filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories.
Predeceased by his father, Geoffrey, Stephen is survived by his beloved mother, Doris, his devoted wife, Lynda, his sister-in-law Lisa, his stepson and stepdaughter, Robert and Mari, and his step-grandchildren, Kayden and Irina.
Stephen was a man of many passions. He cherished time spent with family and friends, and he found joy in golfing, playing pool and darts. A music lover, he especially enjoyed playing the guitar.
Stephen’s kindness, humor, and love will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
