ROBERTSON, Ronald ‘Ron’ – Passed away peacefully, with his family by his side, at his residence on Saturday March 16, 2024 at the age of 72. Beloved husband of 30 years to Patricia ‘Pat’ Dawson and cherished father of Kristy (Ryan) Shaw, Lindsay Robertson, Allison Robertson and David (Kimberly) Dawson. Devoted grandfather to Maren, Lochlan, Colin, Bryson, Madison, Luca, Domineco, Ashton, Aiden,and Avery. Ron is survived by his sister Louanne Laity and sister-in-law of Gillian (Jim) Oxley-Harper. He will be deeply missed by many nieces, nephews and dear friends. Predeceased by his parents Ronald and Isabella (nee Ware) Robertson and son Ryan. To know Ron, you would say he was fun loving and extremely social, he enjoyed his coffee time with the retired ‘Posties’, friends that he made while working over 32 years for Canada Post. He loved his classic rock music, especially the Beatles, and was a great fan of the Toronto Maple Leafs. He spent many of his days at the MacBain Center playing Pickle Ball. His summer delight was to spend time at Lion’s Head Village where he grew up and returned every summer. Friends are invite to join the family at the PATTERSON FUNERAL HOME, 6062 Main St. Niagara Falls, visiting Thursday March 21, 2024 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 pm. Cremation will follow. In memory of Ron, memorial contributions may be made to The Niagara SPCA and Humane Society, and would be appreciated by his family. Online condolences at pattersonfuneralhome.com
