Peacefully at Kipling Acres on Wednesday, September 27, 2023. Norm Basnicki, dearly beloved husband of Patricia Halko and the late Jean Basnicki. Beloved father of Dianne. Dear brother of Adeline and predeceased by Mike, John, Bill, George, Ray, Stanley, Olga, Ann and Mary. Dear friend of Roman (Alison), Steven (Sherene) and Roxanne. Missed by Devin, Justin, Melanie, Kristen, Jayden, Jacob, Sofia and Rachael. Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, family and friends. Resting at the NEWEDIUK FUNERAL HOME, KIPLING CHAPEL, 2058 Kipling Avenue (North of Rexdale Boulevard), on Monday from 4pm to 8pm. Panakhyda Monday at 7pm. Funeral Tuesday, October 3, 2023 from St. Demetrius Church, 135 La Rose Avenue, at 10am. Interment Glendale Memorial Gardens.
