Natalie Wajs Rashkovan – Peacefully and surrounded by family after facing pancreatic cancer with resilience and strength, our family is devastated by the loss of our matriarch. Natalie, devoted wife of 33 years to David Rashkovan. Beloved daughter and daughter-in-law of Helen (z”l) and Philip Wajs, Freda (z”l) and Ernie (z”l) Rashkovan. Loving mother and mother-in-law to Brennan and Rebecca, Luke and Jillian, and doting Lili to Asher. Cherished sister and sister-in-law to Richard and Marcy Wajs, Barry and Tracey Rashkovan, and Michael and Liane Eliesen. Natalie will be deeply missed by her many nieces and nephews and the many friends whose lives she touched so profoundly. Natalie always felt that it was better to give than to receive. Her generosity knew no bounds. She lived life to the fullest and especially loved spending time with her family, friends, and beloved cat Sammy and grand-dog Brody. Natalie’s leadership and kindness left an indelible mark on those fortunate enough to know her, and her legacy will live on through her friends and family. Thank you to Rick and Jeff for their care, Natalie’s home-care nurse Mahmood for his many visits, as well as the Sunnybrook oncology and palliative teams.
