DI FRANCESCO, Mauro
Mauro Di Francesco passed away peacefully on June 26, 2024 after a short illness. He was born in Atri, Teramo, Italy and lived most of his life in Silvi, Marina, Abruzzo. His whole life profession from a young age was being a Master Barber. Of course, he was also a passionate and lifelong Juventus fan. In Italy, before coming to Canada, he had his own barbershop but decided to leave to make a new and better life in Toronto, Canada for his family. He leaves his loving wife Livia, daughter Roxana and Twins July and Lukas. He is survived by his mother Rosanna (Predeceased by his father Bruno), sister Lidia (p.d. Michele). Loving uncle to niece Michela, nephew Amerigo. Loving brother-in-law to Lidia (Paolo) and Florentina (Nelu). Loving uncle to Lorand, Richard and Philip.
The family would like to give thanks to the whole team at Sunnybrook Hospital & the Palliative Care K-1 Unit for all their support, kindness and care for their beloved Mauro. Our deepest gratitude to all of them.
Also a special thank you to all of Mauro’s friends and family in Italy and Canada for the lovely support through this difficult time.

Relatives and friends are welcome for visitation to the Bernardo Funeral Home (2960 Dufferin St., south of Lawrence Ave.) on Thursday, July 4, 2024, from 3:00 – 8:00 p.m. A Celebration of Life Service will be celebrated at Bernardo Funeral Home (2960 Dufferin St., south of Lawrence Ave.) on Thursday, July 4, 2024 at 8:00 p.m. (by Reverend Noel Ramsey). Private Cremation to follow.
