It is with great sadness and a heavy heart that we lost Mark on Monday, October 2, 2023, quietly at his home. He is the son of the late Ronald Patton and the late Viola (Vi) Patton. He will be deeply missed by partner, Carole Proudman; and sister, Debbie, and her close family friend, Eric Runge. His cousins Gail, Chad and Ann also feel the sadness of his sudden death.
Mark was an Ontario Scholar and Chess Champion at Crescent School. He enjoyed fishing in Muskoka, learning to play guitar, writing poetry, and studying and competing in chess.
A Memorial Service will be held at Glenview Presbyterian Church (1 Glenview Avenue) on Saturday, June 15, 2024 at 2 p.m. Reception to follow. Cremation has taken place.
