We are deeply saddened by the passing of Marcus Gaskin who was a loving father, son and dedicated partner. Marcus leaves behind a wife, his two beautiful young children, and mother. His life has been taken away much too soon, yet he achieved so much in his life. He was one of the most hard working individuals who never gave up and always persevered. A Master Plumber who had a successful business across Ontario for over 20 years. His passion and drive that he put into his business was beautiful to watch.
Outside of work, Marcus loved going to Raptors games, cheering for the Cleveland Browns like his late father, and treasured spending quality time with his wife and children.
On April 7, 2015, Marcus was blessed with his beautiful daughter, Scarlett, who is a mini version of him, down to the freckles. His son, Brian, who was born on July 18, 2019 was his pride and joy as he made many future plans for him to be a professional baseball player.
As a mother I am proud to have watched you grow into the most wonderful person. From the moment I knew you were going to be born, I was overjoyed. My heart was filled with anticipation and love, but in the back of my mind there was fear I was going to be a good mom. You achieved so many wonderful things, having an amazing wife and children. My physical time with you is now over, so my son, I send you off to happier times. You are finally at peace and I am so happy for you. So rest yourself, tell them up there I am thankful, grateful, lucky, and privileged that I was your mom. I will hold you in my heart forever and ever. Say hi to dad for me, love you more than all the stars.

We will be hosting a Celebration of Life following the visitation at St. James’s Gate Toronto; 5140 Dundas St West from 4:15 – 8:00 p.m.
