Dad passed away peacefully on November 14th, 2024. He is now reunited in heaven with his loving wife Angela Rosa (2020), his parents Pietro and Mariantonia. Loving father to Peter (Teresa) and Joseph (Vittoria) and nonno to John (Jessica), Mark (Stephanie), Christopher (Jessica), Jessica (Nicholas) and bisnonno to Alessandro, Rosa Lucia, Ellie Rose, Lorenzo and Jackson James.
He leaves behind his siblings Domenico (Carmela), Maria (Giovanni), his brothers-in-law Giovanni (Filomena) and Nicola (Rosa) and his many nephews and nieces.
Dad lived a good, healthy, and prosperous life dedicated to his family.
After years of hard work, , he retired from the City of Toronto to enjoy many winter months in Mexico and summers at their cottage in Penetanguishene (Tiny Beaches).
Dad, Rest in Peace. You and mom will forever be in our hearts.
In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made in his memory to the Gerry & Nancy Pencer Brain Tumour Clinic.

Relatives and friends are welcome to Bernardo Funeral Homes (2960 Dufferin St., south of Lawrence Ave. W.) for visitation on Monday, November 18, 2024 from 4-8 PM. Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Charles Borromeo Church (811 Lawrence Ave. W., at Dufferin St.) on Tuesday, November 19, 2024 at 10:00 AM. A private burial will follow where John will then be laid to rest with his wife Angela Rosa.
