Gertrude E. (Gert) Huntingford, B.Sc.
Passed away peacefully on Friday, October 11, 2024 at her residence in Etobicoke. Beloved wife of the late Arthur (Mickey) Huntingford. She will be greatly missed by her family residing in Berlin, Germany. Her loss will also be greatly felt by her niece Charlene Evens, her nephew Mel Bodman and his family and her niece Joanne Whidden and her family as well as many other nieces and nephews.
Gert worked for a number of years at the Quality Control Laboratory at Silverwood Dairies and then was employed by the Ministry of Health in the Biochemistry Laboratory from where she retired in 1990.
Visitation will be held at the G.H. Hogle Funeral Home, 63 Mimico Ave., Etobicoke, on Thursday, October 24, 2024 from 11 a.m. until time of service at 12 noon. Reception to follow in the lower lounge. Burial at Park Lawn Cemetery, Etobicoke, ON
In lieu of flowers donations it is Gert’s request that donations be made to the Toronto or Etobicoke Humaine Society, Heart and Stroke Foundation, Kidney Foundation or to any other charity of your choice.
