Obituary
Emmanuel Alves (1971-2024) Also known to family and friends as Manny was a kind, loving, dedicated and hardworking individual who always put the needs of others ahead of himself. He was born on the small island of São Miguel, Azores, Portugal, and immigrated to Canada with his parents at a young age in the early 1970s. Manny had a deep love for the outdoors, always seeking adventure, whether through hiking, observing wildlife, or exploring new landscapes, but his greatest joy came from the time spent with his family, whose love and support he cherished above all.
Emmanuel leaves behind his father Manuel, his brother Mike and his wife Lejla, brother Danny and fiancé Tanis, as well as his nieces and nephews Grace, Luca, Mikayla, Logan & Sawyer. Emmanuel was a truly kind-hearted individual, as demonstrated by his consistent support for various charities and his ongoing generosity toward others.
