The family announces with sorrow his passing after a lengthy battle with dementia at Extendicare Timmins on Friday, April 12, 2024 at the age of 82 years. Dear father of Carole McIlquham (John) and Pauline Paquette (Romeo). Loving grandfather of Tammy, Jennifer, Valerie, Eric, Melanie and Nathalie and many great grandchildren. Dear brother of Rene, Bobby and Claudette. He will be missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Predeceased by his daughter Suzanne Villeneuve Gallant, his parents Albert and Aurore Larabie, his sister Jeannette and his brothers Harvé and Henri. Wilfred was the owner of Larabie Waste Management for many years. The family would like to thank the staff, nurses and Dr. DiTullio for the care Wilfred received. Remembrance donations to the Alzheimer Society would be greatly appreciated. In respecting his wishes, there will be no visitation or service. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the MIRON-WILSON FUNERAL HOME, Cremation and Reception Centre, 150 Balsam St. S., Timmins.
